Alexandra Thalberg Receives Concert Artists International Special Jury Prize

Concert Artists International honored Tacy Volunteer  Alexandra Thalberg twice for her musical talents this year. She, in turn, has honored the foundation.

Ms. Thalberg received first prize in the Virtuoso Competition for Junior Artists (grades 7-9), joining three other students in that honor for 2017. As a result, Ms. Thalberg received an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York. She also took a second prize in the Maestro Competition, performed at Strathmore Mansion. It for this performance that Ms. Thalberg received a Special Jury Prize for an Outstanding Performance.

“It was a great honor to earn this accolade, as so many great musicians performed at both concerts,” Ms. Thalberg said.

Ms. Thalberg has shared her talents with the Tacy Foundation many times by playing music for the foundation as a volunteer. She now plans to donate her winnings from this prestigious conference to the Tacy Foundation.

All of this talent and hard work has resulted in success, and Ms. Thalberg deserves our congratulations—and thanks.
