A Parent from Springfield, Illinois Writes to Thank the Tacy Foundation for Music CDs
January 1, 2019: “My daughter received one of your CDs — called “Music Fills the Heart with Joy” —while spending several months at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2015-2016. She enjoyed the CD, but it recently broke. We did not see it on your website, but wanted to ask if you might happen to have one available. If so, could you please let me know?
January 3, 2019: Thank you all for your wonderful help! She had the Disc 1 Music Fills the Heart With Joy that begins with Navarra, Op. 33. Our daughter had a bone marrow transplant just over 3 years ago. She still goes to Cincinnati every 3 months for check-ups, but overall she is doing well! She listens to mostly classic or instrumental music as she falls asleep at night, and sometimes when she plays in her room. She especially enjoyed your CD during our 9 month stay in Cincinnati. We always had music playing in her hospital room! As she got stronger, we danced to some of the songs too!
Thank you so much for providing the gift of music to children’s hospitals! It was a bright spot during those many long days! Thank you again, and blessings to you all in the New Year!! January 7, 2019: Please share our story with your young volunteers. Hopefully it will help them understand how impactful their gifts are!)
